Today we pretended to have a meal at school. We had to draw our favorite meal on a plate. However, in each group there was one person with a cup of dirty water and they were not allowed to draw their favorite meal on their plate. Why? Because when that happens in the real world we wanted the people with the dirty water to feel what it felt like. We learned we can help these people through the Food Bank. We brainstormed some items that we can bring to our school because we have 3 boxes to fill! Some items that would be good to bring are:
- pumpkin seeds
-cereal
-soup
-crackers
-macaroni
-pickles
-ketchup
These are only SOME of the things we can bring. We are collecting food for the food bank until December 17th. We can bring items to school each day.
