What is an iron for?

Today we were comparing hot and cold objects in our environment. We learned what language Scientists use when comparing two objects (i.e. _____ is hotter than _______). I had to chuckle as not one student knew the object in the bottom right hand corner of the picture above! Some students knew the name of the object but had no clue as to what the use is!


3 Things We Learned Today:
1. "In Science we learned what hotter and colder are" K.H.
2. " In Social Studies we learned what different kinds of words historians use" S.C.
3. "In Math we played a game called Horseshoes" M.C. (Ask me how to play!)
