Today we read a story called 'Same, same but Different' by Jenny Sue Kostecki-Shaw. It looked at 2 friends from different parts of the world and what was the same between them and what was different. We learned today that we are going to be getting letters from some kids in another part of the world. We are excited!
We also looked at the word estimation and what it means. We have a question for you Mom and/or Dad:
"Do you use estimating in your job?" If so, how?

1. " In Math we learned a new problem called a 3 Act Problem. We learned how to estimate." M.S.
2. "In Inquiry we opened Mrs. Ramsay's truck and learned about some artifacts in it." L.M.
3. "Room 2 is getting letters from people from a different country and they are wondering what Calgary is like." M.M. "The country the kids are from is the U.S." L.L.
