What a fun day! Mrs. Ramsay helped us learn how to make bread from scratch. We enjoyed mixing the ingredients together and then the delicious smell as it was baking through the morning!
This afternoon we learned how they made butter in the early days before there was a Safeway or Superstore to buy it from. We saw the scientific process that milk goes through to change to butter. It involved a lot of shaking! Finally we got to the best part of tasting our delicious bread!
Reminders:
1. Bring in a personal object to use with our Artist in Residence. It must be larger than a can of soup, but smaller than a piece of paper. We need the objects by Wednesday.Please do not bring electronics.
2. Notice went home today about a family movie night on March 12th.
