Today we looked at the results of our 'Keeping Hot Hot' experiment. The data revealed that feathers were the best insulator as after 1 hour the hot water was 60 degrees celcius. The plastic pieces were the poorest insulator because it after 1 hour the water was 35 degrees celcius. We are now going to use our Science Home Journals to develop a theory around why the feathers were the best and the plastic was the worst.
Next week we will use what we learned about the different insulators to help us design and build our insulators for our 'hurt animals'.
