Metal=Magnetic?

Today during Science we explored the question of Metal=Magnetic? We explored and 'played' in our classroom with magnetic wands. We discovered 2 areas in our classroom that are metal, but didn't stick/attract the magnetic wand. Ask you student what 2 areas were metal but not magnetic! They should be ready to share tomorrow!

1. "We found some metal in our class that's not magnetic"-L.S.
2. "We started to make math riddles"-N.G.
3."We finished our Thinking Party invitations"-J.V.

Reminders:
1. Please dress for the weather tomorrow. It will be chilly. The best plan is to dress in layers and bring mittens and a toque.
2. The Telus Spark field study forms went home today. Please complete and return back to school A.S.A.P.
3. Parent teacher interviews next Thursday and Friday. Online sign up begins September 17th through MyCBE account and My Conferences.
