The Beginning of Science Home Journals!

3 Things We Learned Today:
1. "In Reader's Workshop we had color groups like green, blue, purple, red and orange. I did Read to Someone and Word Work." A.C.
2. "In our Science Home Journals we made a prediction of which liquid will freeze first. We had chocolate syrup, water, apple juice, ranch dressing, vinegar, milk and dish soap." A.H.
3. "In Inquiry we learned a new diagram called a Venn Diagram. In the Venn Diagram we got to choose which animal we wanted to put in the Prince's Island Park side that we did not see at Fish Creek Park. My animal was tracks of a duck." A.C.

We started our Science Home Journals. Parents have homework this weekend! You may notice that your child did not finish their prediction at school. Please give them time to finish this weekend. Then it's your turn to respond! We are really focusing on building our hypotheses' using the key words of I think and because.

Reminders:
1. We are now full for our volunteers for Telus Spark. Thank you to those parents who were quick to respond and help out!
2. October book orders went home today in Home Folders. Orders are due no later than Friday, October 11th, 2019. Preference is to order online. If you do send the paper ordering form in, please include a cheque written out to Scholastic Canada.
3. Science Home Journals due back on Monday.
